3. FAQ

When are payouts being done?

The default setting is weekly payouts.

Payouts are triggered by Adyen on Mondays. Once the payout has been initiated, the funds typically reach your bank account within up to two business days, depending on your bank’s clearing processes.

Please note that the exact timing may vary depending on:

  • Your bank

  • Internal bank cut-off times

  • Public holidays

  • Temporary banking system delays

In some cases, it may take an additional business day before the funds are visible in your account.

For an additional fee, daily payouts can be enabled. Daily payouts are processed on business days, Monday through Friday.

Do the time zone of the venue affect the payout?

Yes. Payouts are triggered based on the time zone of your venue. This means that transaction cut-off times follow your local time zone.

How can a payout report include dates from another period?

Payouts only include cleared transactions, not necessarily transactions made on the same day.

For example:

  • A payment made on Monday may not clear until Tuesday.

  • With daily payouts enabled, that transaction would then be included in Wednesday’s payout.

  • With weekly payouts enabled, it would be included in the next scheduled Monday payout.

Because of clearing times, payout reports may therefore include transactions from what appears to be a different period than the original payment date.
