Events/Partners - QR code for ball dispenses

This article describes how you can prepare for an event with a QR code to dispense balls. The same approach can be used of you want to package range balls to companies or other partners.

Prepare QR code as a picture to share to the participants or download the QR code to use for printing it on paper.

One time activity

  •  Create a "player" account "info" address at your venue. The QR code for this player account will be used for the different events
  • For partners or companies, this player account need to be created on an e-mail address that the partner controls e.g. an info@-address.

Preparation

1. Prepare an EVENT pass

2. Create a promotion with no limit for each event

3. Assign it to your player account you created above

4. Login to the player account, go to Profile / settings & press "Show QR code"

5. Take a print screen to be able to print it, or take a screenshot (on phone)

5. If you want to print the QR code on paper, chose your preferred way of printing it locally. You can also easy share the picture with eg. the event coordinator to share it to the participants. 

Event day

  • Activate the promotion in the pass, as in the picture below.

After the event

  • Remember to inactivate the Promotion in the pass.
  • Go to insights / Range ball dispenser to view how much balls has been hit for the event of the specific day of the event.

Package value for companies and other partners

The same approach as described in this article above can be used for packaging value on the ball dispenser. The only difference is that the player account, need to be created for a common e-mail adress at that company for example an info@-adress.
