Tee time categories

The tee time categories can be used within the whole organization, independent on what course type. A set of standard tee time categories are created automatically when the "golf club" is created.

1. General

Name & description This is the name and description of the tee time category. This information will be visible for players throught the system. If the setting “Name & description same as above” is enabled, this name and description will be visible for the users when trying to book. It is possible to set a different name and description by disabling the feature at the bottom. Here it is possible to write what is shown to the users when trying to book. An example could be that a group booking has been made, but the tee time category only displays “Not available”

2. Booking creator policy

In this tab it you set the booking creator policy, to control who could do bookings on tee times that have this specific tee time category.

Applicable restrictions: User type: Guest Memberships (able to select specific memberships) Partners Rolling booking window: Is used for opening tee times for the allowed bookers. In the example to the left, the category is closed until 1 day before the tee time, then it’s bookable by guests, members and partners.

It is also possible to add a policy checker for:

• Gender
• Total HCP
• HCP per player

3. Booking participant policy

In this tab it you set the booking participant policy, to dictate who the booker can bring, when doing a booking.  This is generally set to “all can be added”, but can for example be restricted as below:
